NYSE Euronext resolves glitch in calculating AEX level

AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - A system glitch preventing the NYSE Euronext's calculation of the level of AEX in Amsterdam has been resolved an NYSE Euronext spokeswoman told Thomson Financial News. She said the problem was resolved at at about midday. At 12.07 pm the AEX was trading 1.27 pct lower at 500.34 points. Earlier the AEX aim could not be determined due to a calculation problem but NYSE Euronext had said the market was open and that all prices were correct.
