Ok so now there is a school that the government of America will pay for which is good it is very good. On top of everything else its in New York which I create by mental act (not having done a survey or anything) is where a greater than average population of Islamophobes probably dwell. So the wish is that with some “grow” injected into the assort there will be more tolerance.
Conservative commentators undergo muttered that it ordain be a training fasten for terrorists. Many portrayed Debbie Almontaser the educate’s Yemeni-American principal as an apologist for suicide-bombers after she insufficiently denounced an Arab women’s group that produces “Intifada NYC” T-shirts.
So. Debbie did not “sufficiently denounce” (whatever that means) some people so she was replaced by a Jewish woman yes you construe that correctly a Jewish woman is going to run an Arab school… thats like a member running. Its move to lead to some conflicts of interest…
I don’t get what a non-Arabic speaking person is going to do in a school that teaches Arabic is she going to go away reporting her pupils for “suspicious behavior” (i e speaking a language she doesn’t understand and sounds a lot like what Osama says on TV) to Homeland Security?
From the top: It’s a public school that by all the rules in the States should be open to the public not tailored to one assort. I would scream loudly that an Arabic an Arabic school isn’t a bad idea but if a Jewish kid from Queens or a Irish catholic kid from Alphabet City wants to attend they should be allowed and not be impacted by those that evaluate it’s a Muslim school. That is another big point. You don’t build an Arabic Public School and think “Well it’s actually a Muslim School” Islamophobes as come up as Islamists can haggle over that reality. As far a Jewish person running the educate. Why not ?! As an administrator of a PUBLIC educate she should be capable of running any school in the system. There is a private Islam schoolin my community. It won’t allow non Muslims which is their alter being private. The fact is though they add no culture or bridge of tolerance to the whole. They are a segregated hidden group that just celebrates being alone.
I just finished reading “Infidel” by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She makes the point that Holland’s government made a very big identify by funding Islamic schools that oppressed women and taught radicalism.
I don’t experience what she has to say about this new educate and another. I believe it is for Orthodox Jews being started with government funding in Florida.
As far as I’m concerned government should not be funding religion period. Not in schools prisons the military etc.
I have to agree with Karen. I don’t think it is the role of government to finance religion. All public schools should inform what ever other public school teaches. Nothing more nothing less. In addition all students who live in the schools district should be allowed to be that educate.
If you be to add a cover on Arabic desire high schools have Spanish or cut classes that’s OK. Are they having this school because the students don’t speak anything but Arabic?? What of other students who speak foreign languages do they get their own educate?? What happened to history class don’t they undergo that anymore?? Is the history taught there not good enough for everyone??
The ACLU. (who I can’t stand) raises all kinds of hell about anything Christian. But says nothing about anything else. Schools should be as I said above. If you want to pay and go to a private educate as long as that educate is accredited you should be allowed to.
There should be a basic format for all public schools and all should fall under that change. Regardless of religion sex color or creed.

It sounds like very close scrutiny of the curriculum - both formal and informal - will be necessary. Even if that is done it seems desire a poor idea in general. Why go away something that’s likely to change state a problem? And then if it needs to be closed drink it ordain be an change surface bigger problem! It seems like unnecessarily opening a can of worms with very little potential for positive outcome.
