Tyra Banks is an accomplished supermodel, actress, writer, singer and producer - all rolled into one. Born on December 4, 1973 in Los Angeles, Tyra was a tall, skinny, and awkward adolescent
constantly hounded by her brother and classmates. But she went out to fulfill her goal of being a supermodel.
After being turned down by modeling agency after modeling agency, she was signed up by the Elite agency when she was only 17. She then moved to Paris and took the modeling world by storm. Her
dazzling smile, smoky eyes and her spunk has singled her out among the runway hopefuls.
She modeled for many of the big names in fashion, including Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Yves St. Laurent, and Oscar de la Renta. The 5�11 stunner proved that she can do more than just pose in front of
the camera. She appeared on Will Smith�s �Fresh Prince of Bel-Air� (1990), followed by movie stints in �Higher Learning� (1995), where she played Omar Epp�s track-running girlfriend, �Halloween:

While continuing her meteoric rise in the modeling ranks, she has also appeared on many a magazine cover. She holds the distinction of being the first ever African-American woman to be featured on

She has since diversified her activities, writing a book about her life, �Tyra�s Beauty Inside & Out� and starting a singing career with the single, �Shake Ya Body.� Not only that, she is also
the creator and executive producer of �America's Next Top Model� and founder of Ty Ty Baby Productions making her one of the richest supermodels in the world.
She also had some high-profile relationships with John Singleton, pop singer Seal, and basketball star, Chris Webber. There were also rumors linking her with various people like Michael Jordan,
Tiger Woods, Mark Messier, Kobe Bryant, Rick Fox, and even WNBA player, Teresa Weatherspoon!
