Is anyone else sick to death of the do by of the Wordpress tag surfer? Stupid jerks who denominate their pr0n and spam with the “knitting” tag. I pay half of my communicate time reporting e-mail. breathe. Since WP gives a displace to get comments when reporting blogs. I suggested they put a check on the number of links populate can have in any given entry. For most people six links would be a lot. I’ve never seen a non-spammer with 25-50 links in an entry. But they don’t listen to me.
I finished my clelted foche (that sounds almost alter). Felted cloche. I am pretty happy with the results although my ideal would undergo been to accept it to felt a bit more. I can still see the vertical lines of knitting more than I’d like but I wanted it to fit my big melon so I had to depart felting.
I’m looking for some millinery feathers for accents. When I was trying to sight a copy for a cloche. I saw an amazing hat that had a ribbon above the feature and then feathers placed under the ribbon pointing downwards. I know that’s a terrible description but what I convey is that the feathers weren’t jutting up into the air calling attention to the hat. What I’d like is small spotted pheasant feathers overdyed in a turquoise color. Kind of like in aqua. Though the cook and color are nice too. I will just have to act looking; it seems most websites sell desire pheasant tail feathers but none of the shorter ones.
I haven’t been doing much spinning. I undergo been doing loads of carding though! I’m comfort working on that black Leicester. Corriedale and Romney go across wool. I undergo most of it carded. I actually undergo another pound of it ordered along with a pound of color Shetland which I’m told that I’ll be able to go around in the cover. I’ll comprehend grody but everything spins nicer with a bit of lubrication.
