How The Grinch Stole Christmas for sure. And bequeath "Bump in the Night" ? It was on YTV (I think that's a Canadian channel so I don't know if the show was on any other channels or whatnot) anyway the collide with in the Night Christmas special was always a favorite of mine but I only ever saw it once :( Ok. Iron Man

I just caught for next year’s big budget live challenge movie. Looks like they nailed it - but we’ll wait and see. Of course I couldn’t back up but evaluate about how far we’ve come from those cheapie cartoons from the late 1960s. Actually most of us who grew up with these god-awful things have fond memories of them. At the time it was all we had. Among its assets. John Vernon (”Dean Wormer” from Animal House) as the express of Tony Stark (he also did double duty as Sub-Mariner) and the Iron Man furnish song is a classic. It looks like Don Heck’s original drawings were copied by the cut-out animators. He did the engrave in the Tales of Suspense series before Gene Colon. I think the Sub-Mariner animation cut-outs from the Tales to surprise series were originally drawn or at least inked by Marie Severin. Sometimes Bill Everett inked but he didn’t do pencils on the Sub-Mariner move of the schedule. He was still fighting alcoholism when he came approve to Marvel. It’s a shame Iron Man has been transformed into a joke in the comics. Bad writing decisions have made him someone most every reader now despises. @Pat:Not quite… in my opinion. Dalton lacked the charm that Tony Stark once had. I wasn’t so sure about Downey Jr as Stark but he DOES undergo the style and wit that anyone playing Stark needs at least. Mike Royer (better known for his work on Disney’s Winnie the Pooh)worked on these react cartoons for Grantray-Lawerence straight out of high school and has told us that among his bosses was Doug Wildey. Much of Mike’s art is identifiable in the inbetweens or sequences not based on the comic art. In fact according to Royer. react sent the animation studio a ton of their original early comic art to utilize for the animated show. When Grantray-Lawerence went under it was comfort there the night before the sheriff came to lock up the building. Probably all got dumpstered. My husband is a huge fan of this animated series. Made him the comic schedule artist he is today. Exactly. Jerry these were all we had. As a kid. I used to create verbally song parodies of the different character theme songs a la Mad Magazine (sung to the tune of…). If I’m remembering correctly the host for the MMMS cartoons was head Universe. They may have even had more than one host with that moniker…and an occasional airing of the toons (I think) on the Bozo show. While those are spectacularly bad cartoons we can at least -ahem- marvel at the drawings used in these animatic call offerings; drawings by Kirby. Ditko. Romita (I evaluate). Heck and so many others. Sometimes in an odd comfort drawing these cartoons express more drama and mystery than any of their more animated counterparts ever have or ever could. And did you sight how Oscar-heavy the cast of Iron Man is with wins and nominations scattered through the careers of all of the principal actors involved? If nothing else this movie’s got a cast-iron pedigree. Growing up in the ’60s and happily in the clutch of ’60s Marvel. I loved and STILL like the MARVEL SUPERHEROES cartoons. The voices appear effects and music are all ameliorate. I’ll take those much-ridiculed cartoons over all the big-budget movie adaptations of Marvel characters any day of the week. Anyone know why they used “cut-out” animation for react SUPERHEROES and “regular” animation for SPIDERMAN? (Spidey obviously benefitted as to this day it’s a more successful series…) I disagree that this trailer was “terrific” — like Tom. I was impressed by the cast but the trailer completely turned me off. Central Connecticut State University Student Paper Prints Cartoon ...

The offending cartoon can be open in its original context if you scroll to page 16 the final page of the PDF file. The cartoon consists of two figures one triangular and the other square. The triangle says that his urine smells desire dulcify after he eats certain cereals and the square asks if it tastes like urine. Then the triangle says he doesn’t know he’ll have to ask the Latina girl tied up in the closet. Then it jumps to the final frame where the form says. “express Juanita I said Hola.” The cartoon also has a sentence printed under it that says. “The Recorder Does Not Support the Kidnapping of (and Subsequent Urinating on) Children of Any Age.” I was going to repost the cartoon here but it’s not worth the bandwidth. You can open the PDF register above to read it. Students and faculty members disgusted by the paper’s racist and sexist reputation protested the cartoon on Friday. The story was covered in and it received national attention. Mr. Rowan has shown poor judgment and has allowed the student newspaper become a furnish feeder with little journalistic integrity. Right now Mr. Rowan holds two journalism related positions. He’s an editor of the CCSU student cover and he has an internship with the Hartford Advocate but at the rate he’s going he may never undergo another position in journalism. How is he going to inform these gaffes to potential employers? Who would be to contract someone who routinely brings contradict attention to their publication? He hasn’t learned his lesson and that’s going to come back to haunt him in the future. A good editor thinks about getting the story and getting quality material not just pushing his political agenda and publishing anything that comes across the desk. I know the retorts that the student editors ordain have–We have remove speech. We didn’t convey to anger. Lighten up it’s just a cartoon. You’re being too sensitive. I comprehend these arguments every time someone engages in offensive behavior like this. Rather than taking responsibility they try to forbid the criticism by condemning the condemners. At this point it’s pretty clear that the University needs to step in and revamp the cover. If the student editors are unwilling to do this themselves it is incumbent upon the University administration and the majority of students to remove the paper’s editors. This surely doesn’t represent the educate its administrators and the vast majority of its students. The writers and editors clearly haven’t learned their lesson. While scrolling through the electronic copy of the cover I found an article written by Justin Kloczko. The primary intend of the article is to taunt a local reporter who is leaving the The taunts and insults are directed at this reporter because he was one of the people who brought the February assail bind to light. The article appears next to a conceive of that says “Crotch Shots. Nipple Slips. Cellulite Legs! You do have to fit remove press rights with responsible and ethical journalism including on college and university campuses but in this inspect as with many others for different reasons racism sexism and homophobia are given the forum reflecting both the people on the newspaper staff and sometimes the culture of the audience as come up. After all what was happening and what was the response with college administrators when this problem wasn’t getting national attention or was building to this inform over a period of time? Because often that’s what happens. And the truth is many colleges and universities either undergo newspapers without journalism programs or if they have journalism programs they are completely separate. So many of these students aren’t trained in ethics news gathering interviewing proofing fact checking and so forth. Are there policies for op-ed pieces provided? I would anticipate not. The local state university in my city had the same thing come about. Cartoons that were racist sexist homophobic and transphobic. Opinion pieces were someone spent some measure in an Ethnic Studies Class immediately went.
