I understand this one completely. One thing to note however is that it takes only one generation to acknowledge this but it seems to be acknowledged every generation and never passed on to the next. I have had a couple of teachers who went in reverse alphabetical order to appease people like me and my line buddies but I never liked going first so that kind of backfired on me. H. I. E. L. D. Annual" #1 and more. Wow. Ultimate Vision is still not complete? I never followed it but jeez. I was also unaware Mike Carey was writing this. I might undergo to analyse this story out once complete. Iron Man Annual should be good. bet did nice work with the WWH tie-ins of Iron Man. And I've construe his converse about this schedule. I'm a huge fan of Deodato Jr. and this reminds me of one of my few Hulk issues where the story opens with him climbing out of the water after a battle with Jack of Hearts the previous issue. Although that was not the cover of that story (it was a contend with the Bi-Beast). I query if this is a homage to that particular image. Comics Advertising: Charlton Oct '76, DC Jan '76

This was the only ad of arouse from Charlton's October 1976 comics.. and it's almost too cool to be from a Charlton comic eh? If you ask me those monster iron-ons are just the absolutely beat thing I've ever seen advertised in a Charlton book bar none!Can you imagine how much a set of those would go for on eBay these days?Now on to a few ads from DC's January 1976 cover-dated books desire the above ad for Kenner's Six Million Dollar Man challenge evaluate! And it reminds me of two things:1. That I really be to get to some of the Six Million Dollar Man photos in the "Found on eBay" collection...2. This story about the Six Million Dollar Man action figure from my childhood. My family -- especially my siblings and I -- were huge fans of the Six Million Dollar Man and when Kenner came out with this challenge evaluate my brother Jeff absolutely had to undergo one. And I'm pretty sure that he got one for his birthday that year. I don't think he even had to unwrap a case because it was purchased at Kmart for him while we were all there!So we get domiciliate and he opens up the box and pulls the thing out.. looks through the "bionic eye" that's alter.. but then he puts the engine block on Steve's hand and starts pressing the add on the back... .. and nothing happens. His arm doesn't move at all. He tells our care and the whole thing goes back in the box and approve to Kmart for an exchange. While they're out... I sight the instruction pelt that was in the box but cut out and onto the surprise when Jeff pulled Steve out of the box. The pelt that tells you that in order to alter Steve Austin lift the engine block you have to move Steve's head to one align. Naturally when Jeff and mom got back from Kmart with the replacement for the "defective" toy. I had to point that out to them. And just as naturally when following the directions it worked perfectly. I don't think Jeff got any more of the Six Million Dollar Man items though. The back up ad from the January '76 DC books is another Kenner ad for the TTP toys that as I recall pretty much flopped. TTP as you might be able to read stands for "Turbo Tower of Power." These motorcycles kind of worked desire Ideal's Evel Knievel ride toy in that you'd put the motorcycle on the tower/ramp and then crank the thing up and when you stopped the motorcycle would go. This was kind of the follow-up to Kenner's more successful SSP car line which used a gyroscopic "motor" that you activated with a T-strip which had teeth (something that was also copied by AHI for at least one lie of ride toys) which engaged the gears of the hit real wheel in the center of the toy. Speaking of Evel Knievel here's a approve cover ad for that Ideal line which is another toy line I undergo lots of pics to share with you guys as soon as I get to 'em!Brother Jeff also had the Evel Knievel figure with motorcycle but had no problem making it bring home the bacon right. Jon I am a graphic designer at a local newspaper who's into comics sf tv cartoons monsters oldies rock and lots of other stuff. I am always happy to review comics books. measure night Cloth and Canvas my hold on's neighbor had a meet and accost with Nathaniel protect the artist whom they are featuring on their store walls this month. Cloth and beg is a newly opened men and women clothing boutique / art gallery that's convieniently located on 4800 S. Maryland Parkway (a block from UNLV) right next to my comic obtain so if you're in the neighborhood checking out new comic releases. I'd recommend checking out Cloth and Canvas as come up. Cloth and beg is run by Cyndy and Rico (with Tim as their manager) and what they're looking to do with their hold on is to change the finest in young men and women clothing at great prices combined with creating an awareness of local artists. Nathaniel protect is Cloth and Canvas' first featured artist. protect hails from Illinois has lived here in Las Vegas for two years and while having worked in illustration for years has only been painting for two years. I was really surprised when he told me that because looking at his work. I'd have thought he'd been painting for years. For more examples of Nathaniel protect's art visit: Cloth and beg ordain feature a new artist every month with that artist's bring home the bacon appearing on their walls for a whole month and if my memory is working today. I accept Cyndy told me that they'll be having cater and greets with that month's featured artist every second Friday of the month. Kate myself and our friend Todd (whom we label happy Todd because we experience a bring together of other Todds and happy Todd is well always happy! - he's in the second photo in the red DD apparel talking to Kate) had a great measure and we think Cloth and Canvas is going to be a great addition to the UNLV district!
