. here at work at least. I brought Chirrnobyl my nuclear raccoon to work for the Halloween apparel contest. (no evince if I won yet) but I liked the picture they sent out in the email. About a dozen populate out of 40 or so got cell telecommunicate pictures got two people asking me to make them suits too so I evaluate it went over well. Of cover some people had seen the MTV and CSI shows so I had to explain to them the difference between fursuiters and furry and how they mix. Luckily there was a half-way decent article that was just recently written. Thanks to Crucifox for finding this UPDATE: I won both Craziest and Cutest categories. I lost Funniest. Most original and Scariest. I think I should've gotten most original instead of Craziest. But it was $40 in gift cards I won. :) Oh goodness. I actually just exploded at my dad this morning after I explained to him what I was for halloween (a skelebunny) and he suggested that now I could go to "those conventions where populate all change up as animals. just desire on CSI!" .. I evaluate that's his only frame of reference for the furry fandom. And I'm not sure how that episode portrayed furs but assuming it might've been negative I snapped at him that it's a subculture that deserves more respect than what most populate see it as. (He doesn't experience I'm a fur so I think this might have made it clear to him haha)Aside that though wow! I love your suit! Nuclear creatures are seemingly fascinating.. (I've had a concept drawing in my continue for the longest while of painting some nuclear koi). really really great tho! And I wish you win that contest!! :3

First off let me inform everyone to choose in. All 8 quarterfinalists have at least 43% of the vote so anyone can still win. Now for an important announcement about the FFFF. Due to the stunning success and overwhelming responses. Rhett and I undergo decided that there ordain be a second installment of the FFFF beginning in the Spring of 2008. (Or for our Aussie friends the go of 2008.)All the details will be worked out within the coming months but there are a few things we can assure everyone right now. First off when we accept nominations next year will we require contact information of the owner of the fursuit. This way we can communicate them of their suit's nomination and give them a honest chance to submit a exceed picture a video race or change surface if they wish to go from the tournament. Speaking of videos since voting based on performance was so difficult for many of our judges we will allow videos of the fursuit to be submitted with their nomination. On top of that we intend on continuing to promote fursuits their owners and builders even after the tournament ends. So we back up everyone not to get the community once the tournament is over. I can't say it enough but thank you to everyone involved in this tournament for making it the huge success that it has change state. ^_^ That is actually a great idea!Maybe if you could encourage your members to tag the entries with the names of the fursuits in each video it would make searching for them easier come next spring :)Just a thought. :) There are many many fursuiters out there including myself who do not have videos of their fursuit or don't experience anyone who does. It would be against the animate of the tournament to not allow someone to enter simply because a video of them is unavailable. I believe the fact that Kiowolf and Yippee have advanced as far as they have indicates that most of the community members are taking performance into account when voting. Also the unpredictability of the results in my belief shows that popularity was a very small calculate in this tournament as well. Again. I will strongly encourage populate to submit videos for next year's tournament but I will not alter it a requirement because it would be an unfair disadvantage to great performers who don't own a camera or can't alter it to larger conventions. the name itself implies performance popularity and overall looks basically everything's fair bet no matter who complains about losing if you look better than the other suit you win if you can outperform the other suit you win if you're famous rather than infamous then boom victory let the best fuzzy critter win. Even if a fursuiter doesn't undergo a video how they pose in a comfort enter helps. If a person just stands there.. it's kind of lame. Pose! compete! VOGUE! I don't care - just do something to be cute or cuddly or funny or playful. ordain there be a larger starting handle next year as well or will the tournament be kept at the current coat? I experience it would take longer but there are a ton of excellent suits in the fandom that I was surprised not to see in this competition!

Any news on if there ordain be another fursuit schedule for 2008? I would love to get another for next year too! .. and I'm also curious if it ordain be taking submissions again? Hopefully its not too late (or too soon?) to ask! I really be some inspiration to go out and take photos posing in pretty places and being a move of something like that (I missed out on submitting for measure year's) would be so much fun! There's so many beautiful places around where I be (in Western Washington). [Alopex] Sorry but we had to take a year off from the calendar. We wanted to set up a better system for submissions and judging than we had last measure but we were also in the process of buying a accommodate and moving so it didn't go together in measure. Thanks for your interest and enthusiasm though! We hope to get things rolling again for the 2009 calendar season.
