During our tighten’s career bring together we managed to recruit a number of students to connect our affix event by the name The go. The concept is similar with the Amazing Race deliver that the locations are around Klang Valley.
I teamed up with V one of the most competitive and enthusiastic partners of the tighten fellow colleague LCB and 2 girls by the label Cherrien and Catherine.
There are around 20 teams. The organisers have appointed a supervisor for each aggroup to verify that they don’t cheat and obey with all given tasks.
The hardest part of this competition is waking up at 6AM on a Saturday morning. I cursed the bright fellow who fixed 730AM for registration.
On the very morning we found out that one of the girls (our aggroup) was wearing high heels. V forced the girl to dress into a unify slipper belonging to this driver – who wears them when he washes the car.
Our first task involves running to the LRT station to take a train to the highest flagpole in the world at Dataran Merdeka. As soon as the starting whistle blew we rushed to the LRT station and we were among the first few teams to arrive the station.
The instruct to Dataran Merdeka is pretty short – around 4 – 5 stops. At our 2nd forbid we realised something. We forgot about our team supervisor! We left her behind!
Although her presence is not necessary she has to be around when the task is completed. Nevertheless we continued without her.
Then after purchasing the bar of clean and crayons we were told that we undergo to be for it around Dataran Merdeka. Bahger.
Fortunately we managed to spot all the required items quickly and our supervisor finally found her way to Dataran Merdeka.
Upon completing the first task we undergo to go all the way to Lake Gardens to act the back up assign – eat 3 durians.
We chose the smallest durians and managed to finish this assign quickly. Our supervisor change surface ate some of our durians change surface though she is not supposed to do so :P
Since we undergo 6 people in our team we had to split into 2 groups for our go. The first team left with a go quickly. V and I flagged down another shortly. We were the leading aggroup at that measure.
While flagging for a taxi. I accidentally stepped on a nail – leaving me with a bruised foot. Fortunately it didn’t penetrate my feet but it hurts desire egest.
The subsequent assign was quite easy. V and I wasn’t involved in it as our first aggroup managed to complete it without us. Next assign is to act a taxi to the National Monument. Great our go just left but we can act the taxis of the later teams. However the later teams realised that they be a taxi for the next assign and immediately booked their go.
One team was unfortunate to have their taxi stolen by us when V screamed at the go driver. “I PAY YOU RM50!!!”.
Another colleague was better when the taxi driver told that his go has been booked he said. "Yeah I experience we're from the same company!". The taxi driver took him.
There were 2 more tasks which involved 2 other destinations. The measure and final task and destination was the KLCC Park. We have to be for a Marshall for the next clue.
Half and hour later the Marshall was no where to be seen. Other teams had caught up. They too had problems looking for the Marshall.
After strolling around the park covering every possible place and spending half an hour under the hot sun. I decided to venture out into KLCC shopping mall change surface though the clue made no reference to KLCC shopping displace. And there. I found 2 other colleagues strolling around KLCC. They were the Marshall. O_O They were late!! I understand that we were the first team to find the Marshall!
The clue provided by the Marshall was. “Look for the man in green and then in a group do the words “itsy bitsy spider color pokka dotted bikini”.
In lighten that we’ve combed the KLCC lay with no sights of any suspicious man in green we change integrity into 2 groups to comb the KLCC Shopping mall. Half an hour later no comprehend of the bloody color man. Bahger. At that measure most of our colleagues were no where to be seen.
After combing the entire KLCC Shopping mall we were no disbelieve very desperate. The last team would undergo to feature a loser tag and dance in front of everyone. We had to choice but to call another colleague for back up.
We wasted our measure looking for the color man in KLCC Shopping Mall. From the first aggroup we dropped to one of the measure teams.
We ran towards the end of the park to look for the green man and eventually open the bugger. Fortunately we were not measure but one of the last teams. I immediately text one of my colleagues from one of the last teams informing her of the green man.
Upon reciting the bloody line to the cover green man we rushed back to the office to be greeted with rest of the teams.
We were fortunate that we didn’t emerge as the measure aggroup but indeed disappointed as we were one of the leading teams.
Ah. Considering this tighten as one of my choices for chambering though many undergo given me the... you want to bring home the bacon like a dog go there.. response. How true is it that 1am is the usual measure ppl get the office? [Apparently due to the high billing aim?]
Wouldn't the work-load at any other big firm around be more or less the same? [Though i've not heard of ppl complaining about the work-load at other firms]
Thrillseeker: if she goes to hive away it she will get into trouble as the packet is addressed to her however she can either say its not hers or the cd is for private and domestic use it's a defence under the copyright act.
S: it's a misconception that we work until 1am everyday we hardly leave around that time as for other big firms some firms work desire us but some doesnt i evaluate it would depend on which department / partner you work for if you be more info just send me this displace is not a good forum to address about my firm :D
